Privacy policy

This policy says what GPlay does with your data.

Updated October 14, 2026

What we collect

  • GPlay does not upload your video or audio files. Media stays on the device, or in a controlled store you choose.
  • Apart from the purchase data in the next section, we collect device details and crash logs only when you choose to send feedback, and we use them to diagnose problems.
  • We do not use advertising trackers, and we do not hand this data to a third party.

Purchase data

  • Purchase checks: only when you buy, restore, or refresh membership, GPlay connects over HTTPS to GunLabs’ own server at api.gunlabs.cn. It checks the App Store receipt and updates membership. That refresh happens at launch, when a pending purchase is retried, and when you reload the membership page yourself.
  • What is sent: a purchase check sends the app id, product id, platform, App Store receipt, anonymous purchase id (appAccountToken), and the transaction id when one exists. A membership lookup sends the app id and the anonymous purchase id. These requests do not include video contents, file names, playback history, or photo-library contents.
  • Anonymous purchase id: GPlay does not ask you to sign in. The app creates a random id (appAccountToken) on the device, sends it to Apple with the purchase, and stores it on our server so the purchase can be recognized and restored. We also store a hash of it, called ownerKey, to attach the purchase record on the server. The id does not contain your name or phone number.
  • Receipt details: the receipt from Apple, the transaction id, the original transaction id, and the verification result. We use them to keep purchase status current, to handle support, and to limit fraud.
  • Deletion: when you ask by email, we delete the anonymous purchase id and its hash. Transaction records keep the fields needed for support and reconciliation. The address is 89694969@qq.com.

How we use it

  • To unlock with your PIN, to improve playback, and to manage the local index.
  • To diagnose performance problems and to improve stability.
  • Write to 89694969@qq.com if you have a question.

How access is limited

  • A PIN and biometrics are available. Sensitive material asks for that check first.
  • The app uses the system sandbox and permissions to separate content. Local protection depends on the device system and the permissions you grant.
  • The local index can be cleared when you ask. How long that takes, and which method works, depends on the device and the amount of data.

This website

  • Purpose: to see which pages are visited, to improve those pages, and to do basic protection of the site. We do not sell this data or give it to an unrelated third party.
  • Basis: this policy describes that processing. If you keep using the site, you agree that we process these visit records as the policy says.
  • Measurement: the site records visits on the developer’s own server at api.gunlabs.cn. The record includes the page path with query parameters, the referring page, a random session id kept in localStorage rather than a cookie, and clicks on buttons or links. The server also records the IP address and user agent. This is not used for advertising.
  • Retention: visit data stays on that server. There is no automatic deletion today. After you ask by email, we delete the records we can tie to that visit. Clearing site data in the browser only resets the session id on the device. It does not delete records already stored on the server.
  • Protection: visits are sent over HTTPS. Only the developer can read them in the admin.
  • Your request: you can email 89694969@qq.com and ask to see or delete the records tied to these visits.
